A lovely package

Last week, when I had finished my Recipe of the Week, I emailed the company who make the baguette I used in that recipe. I mentioned about my blog and the boys with allergies. I received a lovely email back from their marketing department asking if they could mention my blog on their social networking sites! They also offered to send is a few samples of their products. Alasdair is already a big fan of their Sweet Breakfast Rolls.

The parcel arrived this afternoon.

Alasdair's little face was a picture when we opened the box and the first thing at the top of the box was a packet of Sweet Breakfast Rolls! He kept handing them to me while we were looking at everything else, like he was trying to say, 'Come on then mummy, open these!'

Gaelic word of the day:
bracaist (brac-asht) - breakfast

Now that it's written,  I've got a funny feeling this may already have been a word of the day. Oh well, if so, repetition helps with remembering!

  1. Wow, what a great company to do that! I can just picture your little one being excited about those rolls..so sweet.

Bracaist is a fun word to try to pronounce. I've got my husband here saying it with me. ;)

  4. YAY!!! So wonderful that they sent you these yummies! And they do look YUMMY!

I am excited to be trying a chocolate flour-less cake recipe by Nigella Lawson next week. If it turns out, I'll post it. I am betting that you have already tried the recipe though. I can't remember off the top of my head what it is called. I am excited about it!
