Welcome to my houseful of boys!
I'm a happily married stay-at-home-mum of five boys aged 14, 11, 8, 5 and 10 months.
This is me....

I love this photo of them as I think it perfectly captures life in our house.
It's busy (my washing machine is rarely off and my washing basket is never empty for more than about half an hour), it can be a bit crazy - and a bit loud - there are lots of sports happening, musical instruments to practice and some sort of craft going on. Our house isn't perfect, yes of course they fight from time to time - especially boys 2 & 3 when they are out playing football together and they have a dispute over whether a goal was in or not - but I like to focus on the good, which makes for a happier house.
I love to bake and cook, which is just as well given the appetites of these boys, and you will almost always find something baking in the oven or cooling on a worktop.
When the day quietens down I like nothing more than to sit down with my crochet. And my husband. Not necessarily in that order either!
Four of my boys suffer from eczema, asthma & food allergies. You can read more about this under the 'Eczema and Allergies' tab at the top of the blog.
We are an old fashioned house in many respects. Dad works hard (he is a manager with a charity who help the homeless and disadvantaged), mum stays home to look after the house and children, and dad comes home to a home cooked meal each evening. I wouldn't want things any other way either.
One final thing about our house. We are all Gaelic speaking Scots, a' cumail Gàidhlig beò!
