Make it Monday - A little artwork

Over to David, just turned 7, for tonight's Make-it.

Isn't this just the happiest drawing?

He drew this for me yesterday afternoon.

It's him, me and my parents' little dog Roscoe.

David, as I'm sure I've said so often, is not the arts and crafts lover that his older two brothers are. He is the running around all day long, sports loving boy.

Recently though, he has started to take some time out and indulge in his creative side.

And when he does, the results are always as sweet as the picture above.

    1. Thanks! He's very chuffed that people all over the world are seeing his picture! The cross made me smile. He doesn't actually own a shirt with a cross on it but I think since he was drawing it n a Sunday he felt that he should have something Biblical in his picture!

  2. Awesome job David! What a great picture. My boys love to draw and do crafts and they are all very active boys! It's so nice when they all set at the table and become creative and inventive. You never know what the end results will be :o)
Thanks for sharing and have a great week!
    Blessings,
    Amy

  4. P.S. I have been meaning to tell you about a site called craftgawker! They feature homemade items that are considered crafts. It is a high ranking website and you can create a profile and submit a picture of your craft with the link to your blog and the post of it. It sometimes can be hard to get approved, but its usually due to picture quality. I have been denied already, but I have been keeping the quality of picture in mind for my next project so that I can try again. The benefit of getting featured, is you get tons of traffic as well as the possibility of making some Etsy sales! What I have done is study the pictures that are being featured. I also make sure my picture size is not too big and the picture is sharpened. Anyways, I have been thinking of you and your creative and lovely creations that you are constantly making. And wanting you to get featured!! If ever you would like to submit a picture but are having difficulty with the sizing and sharpening. I would love to do it for you! :)

    Let me know! Xoxoxoxo

    1. Thanks for letting me know. I hadn't heard of this site before but will check it out. I can't believe they would turn down one of your pictures - you take amazing photos! And thanks for the offer of help too :0)

Are you and Marie both moving? I hope so, it makes me sad thinking of you both being separated after getting used to living so close to each other again!
