Those of you who visited my kitchen on Monday night will have seen James the animator hard at work in the kitchen (see here if you missed it).
He hasn't tried animating using the ipad before but was quite excited at the prospect as it meant he could animate in any room of the house. The other software we have is on the computer and uses the webcam so he has to have all his scenes in the one room, although he has started printing out backgrounds to use.
The ipad also has the benefit over the old computer of being much, much faster!
The downside of the ipad software he was using is that there is no option to add sound effects. You can add a music track from your itunes but not sounds or speech.
Despite this he has produced a great little film. You just have to imagine a sneeze sound quite early on!
Those of you in the UK may have seen (or have children who have seen) the CBBC programme 'Ooglies'. If you haven't heard of it, look it up on youtube. It's quite funny. And quite wacky. It reminds me a lot of James' imagination, in fact!
So, without further ado, this is James' version of Ooglies.
Ha ha ha! He is SOOOO talented!!! I was literally laughing out loud :)
